Info: Live streaming webcam outside Amsterdam Central Station in The Netherlands. Amsterdam Central Station opened in 1889 and was designed by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers. It features a Gothic, Renaissance Revival station building and a cast iron platform roof spanning approximately 40 metres.

More info: Around 250,000 people pass through Amsterdam Central Station daily and it is a hub for tram, metro and bus lines. There are also free city ferry lines to Amsterdam North as well as departure quays for the tourist boats giving trips around the city canals.
Amsterdam Central Station is situated on three artificial islands in the IJ lake and is supported by 8,687 wooden piles driven deep into the marshy ground. The building was designed by Pierre Cuypers—the same architect who designed the famous Rijksmuseum and has details inspired by Gothic and Dutch Renaissance styles.
