  • Info: Live webcam at the Eagle Chairlift at Cypress Mountain, British Columbia. Cypress is only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver and has 53 named alpine ski runs and 19 km of cross country trails.

More info: When the ski area was originally developed at Cypress Mountain, in the mid-1970s, the Eagle Chair was built on Black Mountain to service the new downhill ski runs there. The original double lift was replaced by the current Eagle Express Quad in 2001. The Eagle Express uses detachable chairs, allowing it to run more quickly than the previous lift.
