More info: Shelter Island is a neighbourhood of Point Loma in San Diego, California. It is actually not an island but is connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land.
The tallest building in the San Diego skyline is One America Plaza, at 500 feet tall. The unusual style of the building stands out against the backdrop of the waterfront district, having an obelisk shape and a pointed tip.
In the daytime, the green and blue glass buildings beautifully mirror the Pacific Ocean, but the San Diego skyline at night is no less impressive when the commercial and residential skyscrapers are lit up along the waterfront.
