Live Scenic Webcam at Port Lorain

More info: The Port of Lorain lies at the mouth of the Black River on the southern shores of Lake Erie in Ohio. The Port of Lorain is about 40 kilometres west of the Port of Cleveland and about 35 kilometres east of the Port of Huron, which are also located in the State of Ohio.

Lorain’s harbour is guarded by the Lorain Lighthouse, built in 1917, decommissioned in 1965, and now a historic landmark. Lorain Port Authority offers tours of the Lighthouse and river during the summer.

The Port of Lorain is an active commercial port and an important shipping center in the Midwest for coal, limestone, and iron ore. The Lorain U.S. Steel Plant still remains an industrial icon of the county.
