This webcam is located on the northwestern side of Santa Cruz Island.
More info: Mount Diablo – also known as devils peak – is 740mtrs high and is the tallest peak on the Channel Islands of California and forms part of the Channel Islands National Park.
Santa Cruz Island is located off the southwestern coast of California and is the largest of the eight islands in the Channel Islands archipelago. The island's coastline has steep cliffs, large sea caves, coves, and sandy beaches.
Taking the road all the way to the summit is well worth the drive, as the view from the summit is incredible. On a clear day, the Livermore and Diablo Valleys sprawl across the landscape, and Mount Diablo boasts one of the largest viewsheds in the western United States, from which one can spot the Sierra Nevada, and even Mount Lassen.
