More info: The Montmorency Falls are located at the mouth of the Montmorency River and at 83 m high, they are a full 30 m taller than Niagara Falls. The refreshing mist and spray that comes from the falls is very pleasant on hot summer days, but the spray freezes in winter, accumulating on the cliffs and at the foot of the falls, where it forms what is known as the “sugar loaf.” In some years the icy mass can reach huge proportions.

A cable car runs from the terminal at the bottom of the falls up to the top and from here you can walk the full width of the falls on a suspension bridge. There is also a 487 step panoramic staircase running down the cliff. The Via Ferrata is a trail for hiking and rock climbing using metal holds and a steel cable to traverse the rock and has three routes. Last but not least is the 300m double zip line which zooms across the falls.
