More info: Zandvoort train station opened in June 1881. It is a terminal train station and is on the Haarlem–Zandvoort railway. The station has 2 platforms and services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

Zandvoort is still the only resort in the Netherlands with a direct train almost to the beach which is just 150m away. From Amsterdam central station, there are two departures direct to Zandvoort, every hour with a journey time of just 30 minutes.
