More info: The London transport signal cabin is situated alongside running central line trains on the approach to Epping station. It is this preserved signal cabin along with the 90 year old former shunting locomotive the L11 which make up the Epping Museum.
The Epping signal cabin was built to the standard London Transport type design and started signalling trains on 25th September 1949 when London Underground Central Line trains first started running to Epping.
