More info: The Grand Avenue Bridge project replaced the existing bridge in Glenwood Springs. The $125.6m project also constructed a new pedestrian bridge. Construction commenced in January 2016 and the new bridge was opened to traffic in November 2017.

The new bridge provides not only a safe and effective corridor for vehicles with wider lanes and better traffic flow, but also a welcoming gateway to Glenwood Springs and all it offers to visitors year-round.
