More info: Also known as the Lake Worth Inlet, the Palm Beach Inlet is an artificial shipping and tidal cut in Palm Beach County in Florida. It connects the northern Lake Worth Lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean and serves as the primary deep-water channel for the Port of Palm Beach.
The Port of Palm Beach is located in Riviera Beach, 80 miles north of Miami and 135 miles south of Port Canaveral. The Port of Palm Beach handles 2.5 million tons of cargo, and 700,000 cruise passengers annually.
