More info: Green Harbour in Massachusetts is located at the mouth of Green Harbor River, a small stream that drains nearby marshlands. Green Harbour is a popular recreational boating and sport fishing center and is a convenient midway stopping point for boaters traveling the Massachusetts between Cape Cod and Boston.
Located just south of Green Harbour is Green Harbour Beach which is a continuation of Duxbury Beach.
The Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary, owned by Mass Audubon, is an area of 578 acres along the Green Harbor River. It has a variety of habitats including grasslands, marsh, red cedar swamp, and upland forest. Trails and boardwalks stretch across expansive fields, along riverbanks, and through woodlands of cherry, maple and birch. The Green Harbour River, and one of its major tributaries, Wharf Creek, flow through the sanctuary.
