More info: Strandhill Beach is approximately 11 kilometres long, with magnificent views of Knocknarea Mountain, Benbulben, Sligo Bay, and Coney Island. Strandhill village runs along the beachfront. It is a popular holiday spot with restaurants, shops, pubs, a golf course, and a large camping site. In August there is The Warriors Run Festival, Irelands largest triathlon.
Strandhill has a number of surf schools catering for the both the novice and experienced surfer.
