More info: Sennen Cove Beach is situated just around the corner from Land's End overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Sennen Beach is the most westerly surf spot in the UK with a long white sandy beach and a small harbour.
The tempestuous waters off Sennen have always been a famous shipwrecking spot due to the treacherous currents around the rocks. The RNLI Sennen Lifeboat Station has been here since 1853 and is one of two in the area.
The 17th century First and Last Inn in Sennen gets its name from the fact it is the most westerly inn in the country and it has a colourful history dating back to the days of smuggling and ship wrecks.
Sennen Cove is well placed for walks along the coastal path. There are numerous ancient sites in the area in addition to relics from the once thriving tin mining industry.
