More info: Mojacar has 17 kms of beautiful sandy beaches. The webcam looks out over Playa de la Marina de la Torre which is 800 mtrs long and in front of the old Palace of the Marina. Today, the palace has been restored to its former glory and now houses a luxury hotel complex and an 18-hole golf course.
This beach at Mojacar, has been regularly awarded an E.U. Blue Flag for its excellent facilities and high standards of cleanliness. It is next to the Río Aguas Lagoon protected area.
The original village of Mojacar is 2kms from the beach area and is perched higher up in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera. The traditional Moorish village has picturesque white-washed houses and winding streets, with the church of Santa Maria at its centre.
