More info: Mackenzie Beach is located close to the town of Tofino, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It is a beautiful, sandy beach of one kilometre long and protected from high winds by rock formations. The calm waters make it popular with families. and it is Known locally as one of the best places to catch a sunset in Tofino.

In the winter months, the beach is popular with storm watchers. The beach is about a 15 minute drive from the Pacific Rim National Park which epresents the Pacific Coast Mountains landscape, characterized by rugged coasts and temperate rainforests.
