Lourdas is a small village about twenty five minutes from the capital of Argostoli. It is one of the few sandy beaches of Kefalonia.
The neighbouring island of Zakynthos is clearly seen from the beach whilst Mount Ainos towers over the town of Lourdata. The top of Mount Ainos is covered with fir trees and is a natural park.
