Info: Flagler Beach offers eclectic shops, waterfront restaurants, surfing, a classic fishing pier and a six-mile-plus stretch of spectacular ocean views – with free access to the beach. The beach sand has an orange color because of all the coquina shell fragments. The old fashioned beach pier was damaged by Tropical Storn Ian which tore a piece from the structure. The city plans to demolish the pier in 2023 to make way for a new concrete replacement.
