More info: Crystal Bay Beach faces northeast from the foothills and cliffs separating Lamai from the popular Chaweng area, on the east coast of Koh Samui. This 250 meter cove goes by three names. Crystal Bay is the name the resorts use. Silver Beach (Haad Thong Takhian) is the name you will find on local maps and Thong Takhian is the original Thai name.
