More info: The beach at Clevedon is a sand and pebble beach, approximately 850 metres wide and backed by the promenade and the town. There is a marine lake at the beach which is filled by sea water on high tides. Clevedon has a long pier which is popular with fishermen and visitors. The pier opened in 1869. As well as the Victorian Pier, the seafront has public gardens, a traditional bandstand and a range of visitor attractions and amusements.

Along the high street, is the Curzon cinema, one of the oldest operating cinemas in the UK. Opened in 1912, the Curzon cinema boasts a retro look and offers daily screenings as well as guided tours.
