    L'Ametlla de Mar is a small fishing village in the south of the Costa Dorada.


More info: Filled with lovely coves and blue flag beaches, L’Ametlla de Mar is an unspoilt fishing town on the Costa Dorada and approximately 50 kms south of Tarragona.

The town is home to the largest tuna fishing fleet in Catalonia and the fish auction takes place in the harbour every day from 4pm. The town has a Museum of Popular Ceramics whose collection is made up of ceramics from all over the Iberian Peninsula and is considered to be the largest collection of its kind in Europe. There are about 4,500 permanent exhibits.
