Burnham-On-Sea Pier is Britain’s shortest pier. The original purpose of the pavilion and why no promenade deck and landing stage ever came to fruition, still remains largely unknown.

The Low Lighthouse is one of three historic lighthouses at Burnham-on-Sea which is still active and is a Grade II listed building. Standing upon wooden piles, the lighthouse has long been known as "the Lighthouse on Legs".
