More info: Broadsands beach is located between Paignton and Brixham on South Devon’s English Riviera. Broadsands is a large, curving red-sandy beach with rock pools at the southern end, sandwiched between rocky headlands. It has scenic coastal walks and a long promenade with colourful beach huts and great views across Torbay. The beach looks very different at high and low tide.
The reed beds found behind Broadsands beach are a haunt of the rare cirl bunting, a relative of the yellowhammer.
