More info: Mykonos island is part of the Cyclades island group in the Aegean Sea.
There are 2 ports on Mykonos island: the old port and the new port. The new port of Mykonos is located in Tourlos, almost 2 km away from Mykonos town (Chora) and it is where the large vessels – cruise ships and ferries arrive and depart. Ferry operators at Mykonos include Hellenic Seaways, Blue Star Ferries, Highspeed Ferries and Golden Star Ferries.
Mykonos Old Port is located on the northern edge of Mykonos Town harbour, a short walk away from the main town square. The Old Port is primarily used by private vessels. The harbour’s southern pier, close to the Little Venice neighbourhood, is used for tour boats to the archaeological island of Delos.
Mykonos is connected to many destinations of the Aegean such as other Cycladic islands, Crete, Dodecanese and mainland Greece.
